QUOTES FROM THE FILM

Everyone has problems. Everyone has issues. It’s part of life. It’s the way we deal with, the way we manage these issues is what really matters. And if you don’t have any tools in your tool belt to positively manage these issues, you’re going to fall into a spiral of negativity. And then once you’re in that spiral, it’s really, really hard to get out of it...
— Chris Huskie
Find help…There are resources. Please use them, for everyone’s sake…
— Keira Baccei
You can’t cry, you can’t hug another man. If you hug another man, you’re a feminine or you don’t know who you fully are. You just can’t be transparent either with another dad, uncle, whatever, and just to say, this is what I’m going through, how do I deal with this?
— Bobby Wiseman

ABOUT THE FILM

Let's Talk is an immersive journey through the lives of five members of the U.S. bleeding disorders community, as they open their hearts and lives to show how we can gain strength through struggle, and that perhaps we aren't so different after all. Produced in partnership with Mental Health Matters Too, the film is intended to spark conversation, increase awareness, and decrease stigma. This website is intended to provide easy-to-use links, resources, and tools for connection, screening, and receiving support.

About the filmmakers

Believe Limited produces films, podcasts, and web content for rare disease and other underrepresented communities, with a focus in blood disorders and chronic pain. Producers Rob Bradford and Patrick James Lynch most recently produced Bombardier Blood, the feature length documentary following advocate and world-class mountain climber Chris Bombardier to the summit of Mount Everest on his historic journey to become the first person with severe hemophilia to complete both the Everest climb and all seven summits.
